Our herbal teas are blended by hand, and are made from 100% pure, natural ingredients
with no preservatives or flavourings. Unlike mass-produced herbal teas, we use quality
flowers, roots and leaves - no unrecognisable dust! Please note that our herbal teas
are supplied loose, but don’t panic - if you don’t have a teapot, you can make them
just as well in a coffee maker or cafetiere, or using an infusion ball or even using
a jug and a sieve!
This tea is relaxing and comforting, and the perfect bedtime drink. The Greeks used
Valerian to help them get off to sleep, while Passionflower originated in Peruvian
and Brazilian cultures, and was brought to Europe by the Spanish. Lavender and chamomile
help to relax the mind, while catmint imparts a delicate, minty flavour to this refreshing
bedtime brew. The soothing aroma of hops completes this light and gentle blend.
This tea is light and refreshing, designed to help clear your head! Lavender has
been used to help relieve physical and mental tension for centuries, as well as to
remove the nausea associated with migraines. Feverfew can help ease an aching head
and is a natural anti-inflammatory. Peppermint helps to refresh and clear the mind.
With circulation-boosting ginger root, relaxing chamomile and congestion-busting
marjoram, why not refresh your head!?
This tea is a gentle, calming blend; designed to help you to relax, unwind, and banish
stress and anxiety. Lavender has been used as a relaxing herb for many centuries,
while hops have also long been recognised as a sedative herb. In times past, farm
workers experienced what was referred to as ‘hop pickers’ fatigue’, which was a relaxed
state brought on by the sedative aroma of the hops. Chamomile and Lime tree flower
are relaxing and soporific herbs, while orange blossom has long been used to reduce
stress and anxiety.

This tea is a soothing blend, designed to help calm nausea and settle upset tummies.
Suitable for use in early pregnancy, as well as while travelling, after meals or
when unwell. Chamomile and peppermint have long been used to calm the stomach and
reduce nausea. Lemon Balm, also from the mint family, has long been used as an anti-sickness
remedy. Ginger, cloves and citrus zest have been used to reduce nausea and calm
the stomach since ancient times.
This tea is a refreshing, blend designed with the ladies in mind, but is great for
guys, too! With zingy cranberries, it is rich in antioxidants and is also packed
with the natural anti-microbial power of juniper berries and goldenseal and immune
- boosting echinacea. There’s also plenty of diuretic nettle and dandelion to help
reduce water retention, all expertly blended together to help promote a healthy bladder.
This tea is a fresh, green tea-based blend, packed with vitamins, antioxidants and
phytonutrients. Green tea and nettle are rich in quecertin, which is an antioxidant
flavonoid which is frequently used to calm allergic reactions of all kinds, but particularly
airborne allergies such as pollen. Gingko biloba has been used in China for centuries
to help respiratory function, while liquorice and yarrow are packed with allergy-busting

This tea is a full-flavoured blend, for those suffering with colds and ‘flu-like
symptoms. Packed with immune-boosting echinacea and yarrow, and soothing chamomile;
anti-microbial hyssop helps loosen phlegm, while expectorant ginger and toxin-busting
elderflowers help clear out the nasties! Cinnamon, thyme and cloves help blitz bugs
and viruses alike, and angelica helps soothe and relax the airways. Best served with
honey and lemon (and an optional shot of scotch!)
As well as our herbal tea blends, we also hand blend a classic spiced chai. Made
from fairtraded quality estate black and green teas, this blend incorporates freshly
ground cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and allspice. It can be made the same way you would
a loose leaf regular cup of tea, but it’s equally nice made by heating the tea with
milk before staining and adding optional sugar for a delicious spiced chai latte
or steaming for a delicious take on a classic cappuccino! Top with a sprinkle of
chocolate, nutmeg or cinnamon for a truly decadent drink!
Enjoy any time, but it is especially good when you’re a little run down or suffering
with the sniffles: cinnamon and cloves help blitz bugs and viruses alike, and the
green tea and allspice are packed with antioxidants. Allspice and cardamom aid digestion
and allspice is is anti-inflammatory and rubefacient (warming and soothing). Cardamom
is known as the ‘queen of spices’ in Indian cooking, where it is also a mainstay
of Ayurveda - a centuries-old Indian health practice which centres on herbal medicine.
